Administration VS Management Task 2

 Task 2 Management vs Administration

What are the key differences between management and administration? Explain each of them in detail.

It is a bit difficult to differentiate these terms because many people use them as synonyms most of the time when it really is not like that and they have their differences. Without a doubt the difference between administering and managing is fundamentally in that administering is planning, organizing, executing and controlling the efficient use of resources to achieve the objectives. Whereas, managing is taking specific actions to implement what is planned. In other words, when it is administered, resources are used to design concrete actions and strategies to achieve the objectives. When it is managed, the actions and strategies are put into practice to achieve the established goals. In short, the administration plans and the management executes.

Which is better, management or administration? Explain.

For me, management stands out a little more than administration because I feel that you can get more out of carrying out the process instead of just planning it.

By managing the whole process, more knowledge and experience can be acquired than just directing, despite the fact that both concepts are closely related and may depend on each other to function.
